How long have you been in business?
I started Moms on Edge, LLC early in 2004 just before the birth of my second child Seth.
Where did you receive your training?

How many teachers have you certified?
I don't keep a tally of the numbers certified but it is in the thousands. Currently we have certified people in 39 countries.
Do you have any referrals who I can contact?
Because this isn't a $20,000 franchise, but rather an affordable distance learning program I am very careful not to intrude on my client’s privacy by giving out their names and numbers for referrals.
What will I receive with my program?
This program provides a manual of etiquette content (40+ basic topics) for kids (3-12) and/or teens, written in a script like a conversation with the kids. There are games and activities sprinkled throughout to reinforce the ideas and lessons. In the back is a marketing manual written by my husband, a Harvard MBA and marketing guru, and me. You will also receive The Professional’s Essential Business Development Manual. Purchase of one of our programs provides access to our online video demos and audio podcasts and membership in the Society for Certified Etiquette Trainers. Ongoing email support is always available even after certification.
Where do trainers set up their businesses?
Trainers that stay in touch with me report that they are teaching in YMCA's, country clubs, afterschool programs, community centers, their own rented spaces, daycare centers, private homes, schools, etc. People are limited only by their business creativity and drive.
How many people in my area have purchased your program?
Because Etiquette Moms is a distance learning program and not a franchise we don’t keep track of territories. We can help you to establish yourself as the go-to etiquette expert in your area.
How much can I charge students in my area?
Pricing for educational programs is different in all different locales around the globe. I suggest researching the price of similar programs in your area and then setting your price accordingly. In our marketing manual we provide tips on pricing and you can email us for additional support should you still have questions about pricing.
How long does it take to graduate from your program?
Etiquette Moms programs are study-at-your-own-pace. Some people study all of the material quickly, others take months. We have no time limits and there are no additional fees for taking the exam for certification after a certain amount of time.
I have never taught before, can I do this?
We provide the curriculum and marketing needed to be successful in the classroom and in your own business. You must provide the hard work and determination! We encourage you to take advantage of our ongoing support at any time.
I am in South Africa, and want to enquire if I can use your program?
People report that they have had tremendous success in many different countries including South Africa, Singapore, Australia, Canada, the UK and even Hong Kong. As I write this we are currently in 39 countries and rapidly growing! Plus, we ship the program anywhere in the world with no additional shipping costs.
Is it safe to purchase your program online?
Etiquette Moms is a secure site. When you are using our shopping cart please note the URL contains https:// (versus http://) which means your purchase is encrypted and ensuring leading standards in online security.
Can I pay in installments?
We do offer installments. You must be paid in full to receive your certificate.
How often are installments charged?
Our secure authorization service will charge your credit card every thirty days until you are paid in full.
Can I pay off my program at any time?
Yes, just contact us and we will adjust your account.
Do you charge any additional fees after I have paid for your program?
There are no additional fees beyond the cost of the program you purchase.
I would like to sign up for the program, but I can only do so through Paypal. Will you be adding Paypal to the payment methods soon?
You may pay using Paypal by visiting Paypal and sending the price of the program you wish to purchase to Elena@momsonedge.com or by emailing us with a request for a Paypal invoice. Please indicate which program you wish to purchase.
Can I pay using a check or money order?
Yes, make checks payable to Moms on Edge, LLC and mail to our offices at 1088 Mallard Marsh Drive, Osprey, FL 34229 As soon as the funds clear your materials will ship. Please email if you have questions about the cost at Elena@momsonedge.com. You must pay in full to pay by check or money order; sorry but no installment plans are allowed with payment by check or money order.
Do you allow refunds or returns after I purchase your program?
We have a strict no refund/no return policy. We learned the hard way that it was very easy for the ill- mannered to receive our program, copy the content and return the program for a refund. We ask that people be excited about the Etiquette Moms program(s) before purchasing.
How much is shipping and what method do you use to ship?
Shipping is FREE! We use USPS Priority within the US and USPS Global Priority outside of the US.
How long does it take to receive my materials once I have purchased a program?
Your purchase will be packaged and put in the mail within 2-4 business days of purchasing. Once in the mail USPS estimates 4-6 business days for arrival within the US and 14-21 business days outside of the US.
Can I track my shipment?
We can provide your tracking information after you purchase.
I have emailed you twice, why haven’t you responded?
Please check your spam filter or junk folder for my email responses. Allow email from Elena@momsonedge.com and Elena@etiquettemoms.com to be received. I answer all email inquiries within 24 hours. Call me at 941-539-6777 if you still don’t get a response.
I read your on-line information and am interested but I am not a mom. Would this be a problem?
You don’t have to be a mom to use our program. In fact, many men have signed up and become certified with us.
Do I have to use the name “Etiquette Moms” when I name my business?
Etiquette Moms is not a franchise. You must come up with your own name when starting your business. When you become certified you will receive a graphic to place on your website stating that you are certified by Etiquette Moms and another that shows you are a member of the Society for Certified Etiquette Trainers.
Once I purchase your program can I certify others to teach etiquette?
No, this program allows you to train children and/or teens in etiquette using our content but not to certify others.
Can you mail me more information about your programs?
Our website contains detailed information about what you receive with our programs. Contact us at anytime with additional questions that might not address your concerns.
